I think it is a mistake to compair the killing of an abortion performing doctor with that of a terrorist who recently visited Yemen,

Somehow this important detail is all but ignored. And many paid for more attention to see idiots who were set up by the FBI.

If al Qaeda now wants a lot of little attacks, its not the same as an isolated attack on a doctor,

A black Muslim shoots a soldier with an assault rifle. Which institution — Nation of Islam or the NRA — is going to have to answer for the crime?

Can you imagine US marshalls guarding US soldiers? Hell, I can imagine Al Gore’s roommate, Tommy Lee Jones, guarding the whole fucking Pentagon. And all the ships at sea.

Tax dollars pay the CIA which has no function because its function is contracted out. Tax dollars pay the contractors. Tax dollars pay the lawyers who tell the CIA to not function. Then tax dollars pay Congress to investigate the CIA, the contractors and the lawyers.

Sounds like they got a racket and we are dipshits.

You’re giving her cease-fire too much credit, considering she was using Tiller’s death for her own political gain while she insisted people not use his death for political gain.

(Still astounded she would actually use the phrase “hyper-partisan snipers” to describe people outraged over the shooting death of a doctor.)

The Monty Python reference that came to my mind wasn’t the Holy Grail, it was the skit where 2 gangsters try to threaten the Colonel in charge of an Army base.

It ends with the Colonel stopping the skit for excessive silliness. Not gonna happen here.

Damn that Olberman and his 28 segments on military recruiters saying they have “blood on their hands”. Damn those Quakers, foaming at the mouth, picketing recruiting centers and harassing poor enlistees, posting their home addresses and requiring a buffer zone around the entrances so the poor defenseless military can enter. Damn Bill Ayers, all over the teevee saying “they had it coming to them”. Damn the President sending taped messages to the annual mass rallies of the War Resister’s League and Rosa Luxemburg Brigade. This is different. Extremism in defense of Liberty is a vice.

That’s funny… A right-wing domestic terrorist kills a well-known doctor on Sunday, I still haven’t seen a picture of the guy. (Not that I really care, I’m just reading news stories.) A black Muslim kills a couple of random soldiers on Monday, I see his picture within hours. (Same disclaimer applies.)
