We’re in the fight of our lives, and all we have to defend ourselves are a highly trained army, several squadrons of extremely advanced and heavily armed military aircraft, AWACS, tanks, innumerable types of missile, a network of positional and spy satellites, a vast array of well fortified military bases spanning the globe, a huge naval fleet of aircraft carriers, destroyers, subs et al, a defense budget that makes everyone else’s look like a poor child’s pocket money, and an insanely large nuclear deterrent!

So if Islam is anti-democratic, and Iran is an Islamic country, but the Iranians who are marching against the government are marching for democracy…does that mean that Iran is democratic if it weighs the same as a duck or something?

Mother Avenger brought up us kids not to be racists, as she valued tolerance because of her brief imprisonment in a Japanese concentration camp in China during WWII.

I later learned after she died that she used to refer to Koreans as ‘yellow-N-words’, but she was careful enough not to transfer the racism she felt to us kids while she was alive.

That’s what an anti-racist does, IMHE.
