One thing you quickly learn about Sarah Palin when you study her career is that she never, ever does things by the book.

Yea, like when your water breaks and about to give birth and you jump on a 10 hour flight and then an hour car ride to get to you private doctor…yep. there’s no book that would say to do that.

It seems that it’s never occured to any of the Starbursts crowd that in 3 years, Palin’s gonna be 48. Teh Hot seems to fade rather quickly when we get past our mid-40s. If Sarah Palin had looked, in 2008, like she’s gonna look in say, 2016, she never would have had much of a following. She’ll still be incoherent, so she’ll still have that much going for her with the base…but given a choice between an aging white woman who’s verbally dyslexic and completely ignorant and a distinguished 50- or 60-something white guy who’s incoherent and ignorant, even the base knows who they’d go for.

Or even against a distinguished 50 or 60-something white/black/asian woman who was never touted for being hot.

I would ordinarily be tempted to say, “Let’s not talk about her looks!”
But it is painfully obvious that her looks(augmented with the Saks wardrobe) were a big part of her appeal. Had she been fat, dumpy, and gray-haired, she would never have been chosen.
