Welcome to week two of the new and improved Random Ten-ish and by "new and improved" we mean that it is now comes one day earlier in the week.
For those who are new to the home game, you take your iPod (or your laughable alternative RC Cola-esque NotApple mp3 player) and set it to shuffle using your whole musical library. Not the ‘cooler than thou’ playlist that you play on roadtrips with your friends while hoping to god that they don’t mess with your device and discover that you have all three High School Musical sountracks on board.
I think there are laws about transporting those across state lines. Or there should be.
I have 9500 songs loaded to date and that includes assorted Limp Bizkit as well as Warrant doing Cherry Pie, so how awful could yours be? Unless you have any Rush or Creed in which case, ew.
So let’s get started.
Your Complex – Ned’s Atomic Dustbin
Everlasting Everything – Wilco
I’ll Be Your Man – The Black Keys
Sweet Georgia Brown – Oscar Peterson
Snakedriver – The Jesus & Mary Chain
Ce Matin La – Air
Bubble – Red House Painters
Wasting Away – The Brian Jonestown Massacre
I Didn’t Mean To Hurt You – Spiritualized
Broken Dreams – Basement Jaxx
and the eleventh one which is just like the thirteenth donut: We Are The Supercool – Space Monkeys
I got this in an email yesterday.
The fans can just shut their stupid mouths up.
And our new momentary favorite is She Keeps Bees. You can get her/their CD at CDBaby because Amazon is only offering the more expensive import.
We like her/them a lot because we also love Beth Orton a lot.

9500 songs? I may be a zombie, and I may have Rush on my Pod (but no Creed) but seriously, can I scoff?
10 days ago, my older iPod became seriously butthurt, and while not completely off the charts, it would only take 9.2 gigs of my music library. I spent the days between wandering the streets, out of sorts and disgruntled.
The new 160 gig Cupertino Life Enhancement Device showed up; took 5 hours to sync the 35,000+ songs in my library.
However; no Creed. In my defense, I do have Kerry Christensen’s “U2 Can Yodel” as well as the mating calls of North American Frogs.

My damn iPod nano keeps getting wiped out somehow, and I’m not done loading it up for the third time. I have only 400 songs on it right now.
