….and other things I learned from a teabagger.

We Blew Away MoveOn!
With about 36 hours to organize and no paid staff (unlike the other side), we dominated in front of Sen. Cornyn’s office today (July 23rd); about 200 conservatives opposing maybe 20 MoveOn people; it was fantastic! Everyone was polite; we always are. As for the other side, if you were outnumbered 10 to 1 by believers in the 2nd Amendment, wouldn’t you be?
. Channel 5 was there, along with other press; they’ll try to slant things more evenly, but it will be hard to do.
The little smiley face after the murder threat was a nice touch, don’t you think?

Examples of we always are (not):
Tea baggers joke about Obama being waterboarded, and Your Health Your Problem
As stupid as they are crude.
Ahem. They must all have relatives in the STUPID fucking Cambridge fucking PD. Goddam retarded knuckle dragging illiterate fucking fucks. I thought dumbfuck KKKornyn was one of theirs, anyway.
That was encouraging. There was a time when half the population of Dallas would have turned out to show their support for any ignorant, paranoid, xenophobic cause. Since Dallas proper voted Democratic in the last election, I’m assuming this impressive group of skinny legged, pot bellied, satchel-assed, concealed weaponers drove in from the suburbs.
Obamacare = eugenics? Classy.

Love how they spell Cornyn wrong in their own video. No doubt this same editor has been screeching for years about Obama and other successful blackity-black-black-black people being affirmative action hires, while they slog around in their miserable lives blaming others for their lack of accomplishments. Apparently all their self-proclaimed “hard work” didn’t apply to school or attention to detail.
No money for Teabagging? Uhhhh…the entire “teabagging” movement is a creation of a sophisticated multi-million dollar PR campaign by some of the leading Repub PR groups. The Web sites they use to organize and the shocking amounts of free BigMedia airtime they were given to promote this movement in the first place, were all a product of this multi-million dollar effort.
And what would be the point of mixing in with MoveOn folks anyway, since they’re trying to get people to honk, and now they don’t know which viewpoint is getting more support from drivers?
10:1?!? Do they lie about EVERYTHING?!? Jeezus. And funny how the MoveOn folks seem the most reasonable even in their own “opposition” video. Dolts.
But, at least he was honest about not being productive.
The little smiley face after the murder threat was a nice touch
This is what passes for civil and sane discourse on the right.
Funny thing is, the guy in the suit at the end looks like my brother.
Damn it, give me back my TEA! It’s an honorable beverage, and I will not allow its noble name to be besmirched in this way.
In other words, bite me.
Wonder what it would be like if they all got Morning Thunder enemas?
This is hilarious. I guess the cameraman didn’t have a wide enough lens to show the other 180 teabaggers.
Isn’t there something the least bit ironic about gray haired protesters, who are likely to be getting their health coverage from Medicare/Medicaid, protesting government-run healthcare? Never mind; I forget that the wingers don’t do irony and can’t spell cognitive dissonance.
Everything’s bigger in Texas. Including crowd estimates.
They’d get a case of the claps? No, they’d be shitting caffeine for days. Days, I tell you.
P.S. I was almost afraid to look up Morning Thunder in case it was another obscure sexual reference.
Yes.
They misspelled Cornyn. Morans.
Also.
The ‘Say no to socializm’ sign is also precious.
They know how to spell “Cornyn” and “socialism” just as they know that they were 200 strong. Once you’ve slipped the surly bonds of reality all things are possible.
They had MoveOn outnumbered 10-1, so evidently MoveOn had…let’s see…one-half of a person there.
What is possibly the point of demonstrating in front of Cornhole’s office about ObamaCare? He’s entirely in their pocket, he’s effectively one of them. Do they want him to be more Inhoffian? Because it could happen….
I just had someone ask me if there was a medicine that could cure me of my condition, but would cost 1 trillion dollars, would I demand the taxpayers pay for it?
It’s absurdist theater on parade, folks!
I wonder if that person really thinks his or her insurance would pay for it? I’d say I’m curious about this persons opinion on the Terri Schiavo fiasco was, but I’m not.
Maybe it was a plea for a brain transplant.
I’m going to assume you meant to say “morons”.
TBogg, I went to a health care rally today and there were almost as many tea baggers there as there were normal, realistic, sane people. Very scary.
maybe if you drink enough Lone Star with Geritol chasers, you see double-double-double. Like cubed, man…
I made Jello puddin’, which I think cures all manner of ills. Willing to share. Any flavor you want, provided it’s chocolate.
See Urban Dictionary: Morans
I think its time to spread a rumor Rush, Glen, O’Reilly Sarah they hate healthcare why because the liberals control them?
Think about who was Jon McCain’s strongest supporters? Older White Males if Rush Glen etc get there way the White Male won’t have Healthcare.
In 4 years when Obama runs again their will be less of the GOP base of older White Men to vote!
Anyone who is against National Healthcare Hates the White Man
Question then why is Obama for National Healthcare?
Reverse Psychology Obama knows that What ever he says White Republicans will do the opposite!
Look Germany, Norway, Sweden they all got National Healthcare all the White Aryan Nations have it so we know that its a good idea.
But we have the best Healthcare in the World!
No we don’t all them other countries and Japan they live longer than us.
Rush, Beck, O’Reily they are Pawns of the Liberal Media They are Race Traitors!
Sometimes I scare myself:)
Only you’ll have to spell it “TRAITERS” for them to understand it
Everything’s bigger in Texas. Including crowd estimates.
well – one Texan counts for ….
aw hell, I dunno.
These people are on the same level as bush intellectually. Who do they think was in office the last 8 years raising their taxes. Or do they think they are that top 1% who had their taxes cut? The stupid really burns.
I thought everything was bigger in French Lick?:o)
Any other spelling tips:) Still I think this could work a counter propaganda move!
I thought everything was bigger in French Lick?
you’re just trying to get me thrown outta here, aren’t you…?
evenin’, RF.
Very clever #28
Howdy howdy howdy (look at me, I’m a cowboy).
nice hat…
I wish I could have linked to the Far Side comic I was quoting but Gary Larson has somehow managed to quash all unauthorized web postings of his work.
This clown has become an icon. Wonder if he’s tried to copyright the pic to collect on royalties.
–Wingnut
He’s got a point, folks! Healthcare rationing is inevitable. And while “happy pills” for the liberals may be rationed, Oxycontin and Phen-phen for fat wingnuts will probably be cut off entirely–and the wingnuts have way too many guns for comfort. Things could get ugly. Of course if Obama rushes his healthcare plan through Congress, it could guarantee a massive die-off of old Republicans before the next election cycle, which may prompt the most bitter and vocal wingnuts to move someplace where they will be able to enjoy virtually unlimited access to guns and Rx drugs. Saudi Arabia comes to mind.
Why are we outnumbered ANYWHERE, 10-1?
Ooooooohhhh . . . that’s In N Out speak! DOUBLE DOUBLE! *heartattack* lol
Ya know TBets, we left coasters and progs need to shower you folks in the Loon Star State with some proggy support and love . . . . but till that happens, thanks so much for standing up and doin what you and the others in yer region are doing . . . . yer all heroes amongst the fallen loons of our lives.
Bless ya, Ma’am, and HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY TODAY!!!!
Pups, drop by Betsy’s place and send some bloggy love her way . . . she’s earned it!
http://www.relaxedpolitics.com
And you’ll feel better . . . trust me. Would I lie to ya? *G*
Do these wingnut pack heat during these protests ? How poetic it would be if they take a shot at those pro-NRA repug senators in a fit of blind rage or just to prove their 2nd amendment creds ?
But, but JDM3, how do ya feel about them? What are your feelings concerning them? Why are you so cod and dispassionate towards them?
I just love the civilized language of the progressives.
Unfortunately, true. He agrees with former Colorado Gov. Lamm, give the patient a pain injection and let them die.
MY taxes went down under Bush and I’ll guarantee I’m no millionaire. Obama is raising them dramatically and I am fighting mad.
If you can’t take it, then get the fuck outta here and go back to red state, you troll.
An additional 1% on income over an amount most of us will never make is “raising them dramatically”. What a drama queen. I’d bet you go to the ER when you get a hangnail.
Since you haven’t even paid taxes under any changes to the IRC that may have been passed by Obama, yet, I find this interesting. My first inclination is to wonder if you’re too math-impaired to understand the basics of the tax code.
So let’s see if you’re up to the Pepsi challenge: Dig out a pay stub from December 2008, and a pay stub from last month. Assuming your job and salary levels haven’t changed, I can tell you right now that the reason your taxes are higher now than in December is because many people don’t pay into Soc. Sec. for 12 months of the year. (See Soc. Sec. box.)
Also, if your employer pays for healthcare, that probably increased. That’s not a tax. And if you itemize, at least part of it may be deductible. (See appropriate box.)
Also, state taxes are figured in a separate box. Those have risen in many states–not because of Obama, but because States have invested pension funds, healthcare trust funds, and money used for their operating budgets in securities backed by bank stocks, petroleum producers’ stocks, insurance company stocks, mortgage backed bonds…. The sort of rock-solid businesses who prospered obscenely right before Obama was elected because the Bush administration let them pretty much do as they pleased with little government oversight. (See appropriate box.)
Of course that little experiment turned out real well, when the top people for those industries bailed, leaving BushCo holding the bag. It was the Bush administration who passed TARP’s trillion-dollar bail-out plan–with virtually no oversight, and immunity from prosecution for virtually all of the people responsible.
So chew on that one, troll.
Crosstimbers:
Dallas proper? There is such a thing? San Antonio proper – probably. Austin proper – definitely.
But Dallas proper?

Eat a dick fuckface.
I live in Washington State across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Vancouver Island, and I can tell you there are hundreds, if not thousands, of Canadian bodies washing ashore every day. At the current rate, I’m guessing the entire country will be depopulated in a few months.
Why just the other day, I witnessed the dying words of a Canadian — I didn’t get too close just in case he was contagious — and they were, “If only I had had the best health care in the world like you guys in America.” And he died. I almost felt sorry for him, but then I realized, no one made Canadians opt for a communistic universal single-payer health care system. Screw ‘em.
