Arianna Huffington is borne back to her panel discussion

As you may have guessed, I am not at Netroots Nation in Pittsburgh this weekend like all the kewl kidz, twittering-twattering away about how we are going to kill off all of the old people so we can use the old folks homes as abortion mills. Abortion mills with shuffleboard, I might add.

In agreement with the great progressive hivemind, some of us have stayed behind just like the State of the Union address where a cabinet member doesn’t attend in case everyone is destroyed by, like, a killer asteroid or a concerned patriot exercising his 2nd amendment rights. That way we can maintain continuity, insuring that there is still someone left behind to make fun of RedState and Ross Douthat.

Thank you for thinking about us, staying behind, not having all that great netrootsy fun in the city where not one damn bartender can make something as simple as a very dry Sapphire martini. I may never leave Boston again.

I’m going to be watching via Netroots Nation in Second Life. You can listen and comment at the same time without bothering the audience with noise.

BTW, is that “Wolverines” item at the end of your post a shout-out to Michigan? ‘Cause if it is, we’re gonna have some problems.

From following the writings of Mr Bogg for some time, I’m thinking it’s a reference to the movie Red Dawn which gives folks like Douthat and Erickson a warm fuzzy feeling about how the high school kids in Colorado defeated the Rooskies and Cubans.

Thank God for your patriotism and dedication, TBogg. It’s very comforting to know that provisions have been made for Continuity of Snark and Mockery if The Worst should happen to Kos and company.
