The boys are early tonight since mrs tbogg and I will be out for the evening. Below would be Beckham in the foreground with Fenway propped up on the pillows behind him.

You sleep on Bassett drool? Ewwwwwwwwwww……
I can hear snores and snuffles from here. (Bassets make the best snorty/sneezy noises.)
Fenway scored the pillows. (Beckham had better watch his alpha-statused butt.)
TOO CUTE. (Fenway, in that pic, could be a Thurber illustration.)
Also, it’s kind of fun to see Beckham out like a light, though I’m sure even in sleep he’s plotting world domination.
*tiptoes quietly away from the monitor*
such sweet wonderful boys, when they’re sleeping…
now that’s the GUEST bed, right? not the alpha man and woman’s bed, right?
Dog drool is an excellent fabric softener. It also keeps my hair silky smooth, unclogs my drains, removes stains from dry-clean-only fabrics, and cures erectile dysfunction…or so I’ve heard.
Awww…they look sooo comfy. I will be trying to achieve that state sometime in the next hour. It gets a little tough with an 85 lb male Boxer on one side of me and a 8 lb male tom cat on the other. Sometimes they are best buds, other times..
They sure look like their comfy. Pleasant dreams fellas.
Hmmmm….sounds just like this:

I’ll go away now…….
As my blood pressure rises from hopping around on these blogs reading about Obama’s health care quagmire, a glance at these lovelies lowers it.
Looks to me like Beckham’s sleeping with one eye open. Instead of rem sleep, I believe this would be the ‘planning’ stage?
Makes everyone into basset fans… They’re so lovable.
You went to Green Day last night, didn’t you? I bet you did. I went down to SD to see it and I thought, “you know, I bet the Bogg’s are here.”
Pretty good show, I’d say, but I think the last time I went to an arena show (as opposed to differently-vibed outdoor shows at larger pavillions) it was REM back at the old Boston Garden circa 1988. It just lacks the intimacy and ear-ringing noise I enjoy.
“All right, you heard a seal bark.”
Many thanks, Madame TB, for the great Thurber caption recollection. Of course, the TBassets are obviously Thurber cartoons come to life.
I also like the daring up-the-schnozz shot of Beckham.
