Mosque burning first. Pudding after….

According to exceedingly helpful commenter DLoerke, 9/11 should be National Muslim Pogrom Day with weeping American’s running through the streets and going buck wild on the Browns (not the NFL ones, the Islamomuslin ones…. although I’m perfectly cool with someone kicking Brady Quinn’s ass):

I don’t know…I’m shocked that 9/11 be anything more than a day of reverence towards the people who died and a day to recall how evil the Islamic terrorists who killed those people are. A day to rededicate towards eradicating the people who would end our way of life. Not change it into some fascist SA-Brigade for “service”. THAT is sickening.

Why does DLoerke find the families of those who died on 9/11 "sickening"?

Sept. 11 will forever be a day of grim memories, but a group of victims’ relatives, nonprofit groups and marketing professionals hope to also turn it into an annual opportunity to boost volunteerism and charitable works.

Jay S. Winuk, whose brother Glenn died at the World Trade Center, said the volunteerism drive "is perhaps the best thing to rise from the ashes of that terrible day. It is a simple, user-friendly action plan for helping others."

Winuk, the group’s vice president, said his 20-year-old brother raced from his law office about a block from Ground Zero to lend his skills as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician on Sept. 11, 2001.

"That day he risked everything to help others, as he had hundreds of times before," Winuk said. "Glenn’s remains were found six months later in the ruins of the South Tower, a borrowed medic bag by his side."

So the Winuk Whack-A-Wog booth is probably out at this year’s Ye Olde HateFaire. Bummer.
