Yes he did, and in his defense, outside of the jeebus nonsense he’s a class act. He’s shown that on more than one occasion and as a fellow who used to have to listen to athletes in post-game interviews immediately thank their deity of choice for whatever success they had (one fellow could never quite understand why I never used that quote) he gave the credit where the credit is due. Don’t blame the cock-sucking on him, blame the media folks who immediately get on bended knee to glorify him.

OTOH, Tim Tebow does not have to go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl, and will be a top-10 draft choice, so my sympathy for him is limited.

(I am disgusted with my life because of the Meineke Car Care Bowl. I doubt I will watch any of it. I cannot say to my husband with a straight face that we should spend Shabbos in my parents’ house because they have ESPN for this one-horse bowl.)
