It always cracks me up when these guys “thank God” or Jeebus — like God & Jeebus have got nothing else to do but sit around waiting for “communications” on who should win football games.
I don’t know , I’d say that those two knob gobblers in the booth were pretty full by the end of the game. Hell , I’m surprised THEY weren’t crying like baby’s along with their failed Touchdown Jebus.
While I was happy to see Tebow get knocked around, he did come off well in the post-game interview immediately after the game
Yes he did, and in his defense, outside of the jeebus nonsense he’s a class act. He’s shown that on more than one occasion and as a fellow who used to have to listen to athletes in post-game interviews immediately thank their deity of choice for whatever success they had (one fellow could never quite understand why I never used that quote) he gave the credit where the credit is due. Don’t blame the cock-sucking on him, blame the media folks who immediately get on bended knee to glorify him.
Loved seeing ol’ Urb toss that headset like Mariano Rivera, however.
Bill Lee once shared with an interviewer his opinion of hitters who made it a point to “thank God for helping me to hit that home run in today’s game.”
Quoth the Spaceman: “Oh yeah? Who struck you out your first three times up?”
I totally agree that the fuckin’ East Coast liberal media machine has made a god-man-crybaby out of Timmy. Those fuckers.
But let me add, he’s a loser. So said the score. Tebow 13. Alabama 32. Loser.
god has pre-ordained all these outcomes (and all events in all our lives apparently, according to the Tebows of the world). Did not Timmy know he was a loser?
OTOH, Tim Tebow does not have to go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl, and will be a top-10 draft choice, so my sympathy for him is limited.
(I am disgusted with my life because of the Meineke Car Care Bowl. I doubt I will watch any of it. I cannot say to my husband with a straight face that we should spend Shabbos in my parents’ house because they have ESPN for this one-horse bowl.)
John 16:33
“And we had no running game and Jebuz stucketh a fork in me and I wept”
Loser.
Crybaby.
Also.
Hahahahaha.
Also,
Hahahahahaha.
Can I get one more for the road…
Hahahahahaha.
Also. Too.
you’re all going to hell
TBogg, thank you, thank you.
That’s pretty darn mean! NOT!
Ah hahahhhahhaahaaaa!
Jebuz doesn’t “heart” Timmy!
While I was happy to see Tebow get knocked around, he did come off well in the post-game interview immediately after the game
Which broadcaster did he “come off well” on? And did said broadcaster swallow the load Timmy fed him?
Not that I hate football, but who gives a flying fuck about FL or GA.
Tebow’s eyeblack should cite John 11:35
1 of 2
Sure was pulling for Nebraska.
C
What’d that John Milton character write? Something about “pride before the fall”? Or was it “LOL FLORIDA SUX!!!”
I don’t give a flying fuck about FL or GA but ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!
Not that you give a flying fuck, but that would be Alabama, not Georgia.
It always cracks me up when these guys “thank God” or Jeebus — like God & Jeebus have got nothing else to do but sit around waiting for “communications” on who should win football games.
Me too. I loathe Texas, or, more particularly, their fans.
I don’t know , I’d say that those two knob gobblers in the booth were pretty full by the end of the game. Hell , I’m surprised THEY weren’t crying like baby’s along with their failed Touchdown Jebus.
excellent:
I immediately went here

Now lissen, you bunch, the Love Slave is a Florida fan, and this woulda struck him all kinds a the wrong way…
…if I showed it to him.
Indigo-Violet Meanies, the lotta ya.
.
Oops, sorry about the goofup.
Just looked up John 16:33…curiously appropriate.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Loved seeing ol’ Urb toss that headset like Mariano Rivera, however.
Oh yeah. Me too. (Don’t tell anybody, kay?)

Projection (non-god-aided): Tebow 3rd round draft pick.
The crying was my favorite part of the game.
That and Cody with “Respect” written on his eye black.
Is Mr. Tebow on his way to becoming Eric Crouch II?
I actually did feel sorry for Tim Tebow when I read that he was crying.
I am, however, full of simcha that Turner Gill may get the unquestionably big-time football job at KU.
OTOH, Tim Tebow does not have to go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl, and will be a top-10 draft choice, so my sympathy for him is limited.

(In case anyone is still reading, my dad got his PhD at Buffalo back in the dark ages)
I don’t think I could say with a straight face that Tim Tebow “will be a top-10 draft choice”.
Obviously you’re not thinking NFL top-10, because that is not happening…..
OK, I gotta admit a teensy bit of sympathy for Tim Tebow, which was quickly swallowed by “Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!”
Perhaps top ten in the CFL?
Please… the CFL has standards.
That’s why Ricky Williams went there. Well that, and the pot’s better in Canada.
