Used to be — before the internets & all — that these shows were [theoretically, at least] a source of “inside information,” or at least “information” from “insiders.” Twenty years ago, I can remember living in DC and people I knew watching the shows. [Not me; I was clearly ahead of my time.]

Now days, why bother to listen to these shows, which are ALWAYS populated with 7 Republicans for every Dem, lame-brained “analysts” and too-feeble-for-words “hosts”? There are so many other sources of information and analysis; why look here?

Look, the bottom line is that Liz Cheney, her psychotic father, and all of their friends are irrelevant right now. Since Lieberman has decided to go all in on the “if the left is for it, I’ll fillibuster it”, and Ben Nelson looks at Lieberman and says “Hey, I like that approach, cause it gets me on the teevee”, the Dems have a hell of a lot of housecleaning to do before they need to worry about people who take the Cheneys seriously.
