OK, the “Here Comes the Sun” bit in “To Die In LA” was easy to spot but something in the verses was nagging me mercilessly. After 1/2 hr. of searching my music files (what if I’d had to go through my records!) I found “a l´été de la saint-martin ´68″ by Miou Miou which shares a chord-pair/female-duo in the chorus with the WIG song in a different key. It’s not even an important similarity (but what a memorable hook by Miou Miou). I better take my meds now. And look what the first song is.

TBogg, many thanks for the tip about the Matador box. The music is (well, mostly) great, as expected. The biggest surprise in the box is that the three small stacks of poker chips outweigh the entirety of the box with chips removed. Now, where can I cash them in?
