Pretty much everyone in Connecticut hates Joe Fucking Lieberman:
Lieberman’s approval rating stands at only 31%, with 57% disapproval — even lower than the 36%-54% for Sen. Chris Dodd, who is retiring. Broken down by party, Lieberman’s rating is 20%-69% among Democrats, 46%-41% among Republicans, and 31%-56% among independents.
Respondents were also asked this question: “Generally speaking in 2012 will you vote to reelect Joe Lieberman or would you rather replace him with someone else?” The answer was only 24% to re-elect him, against 66% who would vote to replace him.
The other 10% just want to punch him in the nuts.
Get in line…
(Link fixed. I blame the haters who hacked Lieberman’s website)
By the way, I’ll be late with the dogs tonight. You’ll live…

I didn’t realize Dodd was retiring. I thought he was quitting his Senate seat to become a multibazillionaire corporate shill/lobbyist for the banking industry.
To-mat-to….to-mah-to
I wish his low approval rating bothered him, but nothing bothers a turd like LIEberman.
The polling among David Broder was 120% approval.
Rather telling that the only group he has a net approval rating with is the Republicans, no?
Respondents should have been asked this question: “Generally speaking in 2012 will you vote to reelect Joe Lieberman or would you rather stick hot needles under your eyelids?”
The answer was still only 24% to re-elect the douchebag, against 56% for the hot needles and 10% who would rather clean all the Port Authority bathrooms with their tongue.
stationary…stationery…nah, either is good.
Looks like Connecticut picked the wrong century to give up stocks and dunking.
Heh. And the reality is, I think Lieberman can not qualify to run on the “Connecticut for Lieberman” party anymore anyway.
IIRC, the “party” was taken over by some folks against ol’ Short Ride and set the rules such that he couldn’t qualify.
FireFox doesn’t recognize your link in your post, T…!
PPP Poll: Joe Lieberman Trailing Very Badly In 2012 Re-Election Bid
Uh, fuck CT with a sharp stick. They elected the nasty piece of work the last time, even though they knew full well that he was a magnificently toxic turd who should’ve been flushed out for good once he lost the D primary.
Nope, the Constipation State owns him and all the damage he’s managed to do for the past term. I wouldn’t trust them to do the right thing this time around — heh, for all we know they’ll go Galt on us and elect some random tea bagger just to prove how mavericky they can be.
Joe Lieberman is not a warlock, he are you.
*ouch* That would hurt…! ;-)
pup-pehs, pup-pehs….whine, whine…
Nah, you’re right. I’ll live. Had to try…
I’ll be late with the dogs tonight.
Waiting is half the fun.
Let’s give it another try!
“I thought he was quitting his
Senate seatposition as a bought-and-paid-for corporate whore to become a multibazillionairecorporate shill/lobbyistgoat blowing thug/hack for the banking industry.”I thought HoJo was the Insurance Lobby’s whore, and, CT’s other whore err Senator, Dodd, was the Banksters’ best bud…! ;-)
It’s a twofer. Both are equally adept as whores for either industry.
Dogz are heeer!!!
Poor Joe. His voice sounds remarkably similar to the actor who played Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs.
As for his future, I am sure that Friedman and Broder would get chubbies at the speculation of a Trump/Lieberman ticket.
Who are the “20% of Dems” who “approve” of this toad?
And who’s gonna run for Lieberman’s seat in 2012?
With those disapprovals, Pol Pot would stand a good chance against him.
While I am normally opposed to standing in line for ANYTHING, in this case I would make an exception. The sooner “Holy Joe” is retired, the better off this country will be. Of course he will take up a lobbyist job, or perhaps just become another talking head on Faux Snooze, just get him the hell out of our national legislature. He’d fit right in in the Knesset, maybe we can persuade him to move.
If I had a time machine, I would go back and
kill Hitlerstrangle Lieberman in the green room right before his Dick(Cheyney) sucking performance in the 2000 vice-presidential debate. The world would be a much different place.
