You think it’s easy treating your brother like a 5th grader treats a substitute teacher?!? They need their rest — they’ve been working hard. (Well, and pooping too…)
They’re so cute when they’re sleeping, like most men and babies. It’s part of how they survive – when they look like that, we forget how much the vex us when awake.
Life has returned to what it should be…but wait! Are you sure those cushions are comfortable enough? Where are the silk and gold blankets? Did they have their warm, rare pygmy goats milk milked by trained endangered monkeys, before settling down? Not saying that they’re spoiled now….
Because even though I don’t have Teh Boyz on my couch, the foliage is at its peak in Washington, D.C., it’s sunny and chilly, and well, I want corn chowder. Thanks, Boyz, for reminding me!
Bassets are experts at sleeping, eating and pooping. Mine are sacked out on the loveseat and one of their dog beds. When people say, “It’s a dog’s life,” I always want to say, “Where do I sign up?”
Mmmmm….comfy! Just the thing for a chilly November Thursday night.
Exciting. Aren’t they?
Yes. Yes they are. Sometimes a mellow kind of excitement is just what’s called for.
Those boys make my heart smile.
Hell, they’re whooped after putting TBoggs brother through the hoops last week.
I’ve heard of dreamcatchers but this is the first droolcatcher I’ve seen (or is that blanket not strategically placed).
They look very happy to have you home.
As are we all.

Yawn havoc and let slip the dogs of zzz …
They’re resting up for the December showdown. Stock up on your meds fbogg.
Don’t be fooled. It’s the calm before the shit storm.

Awwwwww! I can’t help but smile when I see the Bassett Boys in (in)action.
Heh.
This blanket just moved!
We’d better put our heads here,
keep it in its place.
