This is definitely good news for John McCain AIPAC:
Fred Hiatt…” I’m delighted to announce that Jennifer Rubin will be joining The Post with the launch of a new blog next month. Jennifer will provide critical news coverage and commentary, with an exacting eye on conservative policy-making and Republican campaigns, pundits and politicians. From a conservative perspective, she also will cover a wide range of foreign and domestic issues and media controversies. We imagine her blog in some ways as a companion to Greg Sargent’s Plum Line, though of course with its own style and blend of reporting and analysis. With a Republican majority moving into the House and the 2012 Republican primary cycle gearing up, there couldn’t be a better time to bring Jennifer’s fresh perspective and insightful reporting to our readers.”
In the run up to Our Glorious Iraqi Adventure, Condoleezza Rice once reportedly dismissed comments by Doug “The Fucking Stupidest Guy On The Face Of The Earth” Feith by saying “Thanks Doug, but when we want the Israeli position we’ll invite the ambassador.”
I assume that the WaPo knows that this is Jennifer Rubin’s default setting.

Pundits critiquing punditry. How awesomely awesome.
What you said. Twice. Too. Also.
This is gonna be great. Kwitcherbitchin.
I heard an interview with Doug Feith a couple of months ago.
He argued that he is not, in fact, “the stupidest fucking guy in the world”. Sarah Palin is.
I can’t believe it. That would have required Condi to have both wit and a spine.
Isn’t it quaint how the MSM insisted it had to add more conservative pundits to its roster when the D’s invaded Washington with their (as it turned out, totally fake) Change Revolution in ’08? And now that John Boehner and his fabulous storm troopers are back to not change what didn’t change in the first place, the MSM is using it as an excuse to add… more conservative pundits to the roster. It’s a win-win for fail, and fail, of course, is the new win inside the Beltway.

It was General Tommy Franks who said that about neo-con Feith. Has the General been purged?
She can reiterate the current Israeli political program- ‘Apartheid then, apartheid now, apartheid forever!’, just in terms the average Amurkan can understand.
It’s impolite to point out the click of the ratchet.
Well, it’s not like Hiatt has ANY other conservatives on the Op-Ed staff at Pravda, after all. She’ll probably be very lonely, and not last too long.
Ben lasted, what, three days? And Weigel about three months?
Well played, Freddy. The Post has poked its nose into the lead in the race to the bottom. I expect a response from the Times any minute now detailing their new op-ed hire, James O’Keefe.
And the Washington Pest continues its death spiral. Hope Mr. Hiatt gets a real good gig when the paper shuts down; I bet Mr. Murdoch is keeping a seat warm for him. Meanwhile, Ben Bradlee is spinning in his grave…oh, wait, he’s not dead yet. It’s only his legacy at what was a great investigative newspaper which has expired.
