Actually, it’s in the Constitution. A Democrat’s only counts as 3/5ths of a vote. You should’ve paid attention in GOP read-aloud the other day instead of just playing with your Mumia stuffie.
“The guns are meaningless props that we are only using to compensate and all the talk of eliminating Libs, Gays, non-whites, et al is just a tactic to raise money!”
Is that the message the Tea Partiers are trying to get across?
A grand metaphor, sir. But I believe you will have a difficult time casting the Kato Kaelin character in this case due to the sheer pool of moronic talent. The audition line is out the door and rife with teh stupid.
One of the ‘letters’ attached to an article in today’s Arizona Republic about Daniel Hernandez whined that Mr. Hernandez ‘was probably an anchor baby’ and wanted to know whether his parents had been born in the US.
yes, you do. Geez, some (damn lib) commenter somewhere expressed a wish, on finding (dunno if it’s true) that Hernandez is gay, that his parents would turn out to be illegal.
I suppose it’s necessary to point out that the presence of Mr. Hernandez at that place and time was a very “good thing.” No one else had the training and presence of mind to do what he did.
Is the AR commenter complaining because he thinks the result would have been better had Mr. Hernandez not been there and therefore Rep. Giffords might well have died? I would say I can’t believe that, but, sadly, I can.
On edit: On 2nd thought, it would be even better if it turns out that Mr. Hernandez comes from one of those families who’ve lived in New Mexico or AZ since the 16h century, long before the AR commenter is likely to have had any family anywhere on this continent.
Since he is a Tuscon native, the likelihood that he is indeed a member of one of the many old AZ/NM families is very high. Apart from the fact that he looks very much like he might be a member of the Tohono O’odham Nation….
Given the right wing propaganda assualt and the swift Democratic capitulation, I’m surprised it’s only sixty percent:
The mental state of the shooter in no way exhausts the analysis of Saturday’s atrocity. It is merely the starting point, and a rather obvious one, since only a deranged individual would be capable of opening fire on a group of innocent people, including, among the dead, a nine-year-old girl and three elderly people in their 70s.
Loughner’s actions raise questions about what medical treatment is available for the mentally ill―virtual none, even in a case like this where college classmates were fearful that he might turn to violence―and about the widespread availability of weapons like the Glock 19, whose sole purpose is mass, indiscriminate mayhem through the firing of dozens of rounds in a few seconds.
But the most important issue is what led Loughner to target a Democratic congresswoman. Understanding this necessarily requires an examination of the political circumstances that shaped the gunman’s actions.–
Well, if I had to create a profile from that comment, I’d say: a fat white guy with a loud mouth, mid 60′s, failed husband – at least 3 wives and counting, probably childless but who may have an unhealthy interest in them (possibly taking viagara-fueled vacations to some country with lax statutory rape laws), a narcotics junkie, anti-socialist, and all around hypocritical scumbag. Most likely a Republican water carrier. Am I close?
So, Yahoo is letting the Teahadists fund raise on their pages? Stay classy Yahoo!! No wonder why you guys are swirling the toilet bowl.
I thought “six out of ten” didn’t mean “most” anymore, after the Republican minority years.
They use that special “Karl Rove” math.
You know, the math that says majorities only count when they agree with us.

It’s an *action figure*.

“What Mr. Loughner knows is that he has the full support of a major political party in this country. He’s sitting there in jail; he knows what’s going on. He knows that a Democrat Party — the Democrat Party — is attempting to find anybody but him to blame.” — You may have one guess who said that.

I’d call up Limbaugh and give him a very large piece of my mind, but I don’t want to even be within audio range of that odious gasbag.

Chuy, I loathe these people.
One of the ‘letters’ attached to an article in today’s Arizona Republic about Daniel Hernandez whined that Mr. Hernandez ‘was probably an anchor baby’ and wanted to know whether his parents had been born in the US.
I gotta get out of this state.

Limburger do smell, don’t it? It’s, um, distinctive.

“You might very well think that; I couldn’t possibly comment.”
Ah. A House of Cards man. Excellent.
