This was taken this afternoon just before the L&T Casey and I left for late lunch and going to see Thor (How was it? thwell). Realizing we were leaving the dogs took up their normal spots for afternoon naps.

The light is gorgeous in this shot.
The dogs look unimpressed, as all dogs who live lavish lifestyles do. Ho hum, bring my silk pillows and caviar-dipped milk bones, servant.
I can’t believe the size of Wembley. I wouldn’t want to have to fight him for chair privileges.
In light of the movie’s plot, it is very interesting this Thor had a beard.
I am now looking forward to the Conan reboot.
Love the extended light-vs-dark metaphor in these basset pics.
Senor Bogg, that is a wonderful photograph! Your use of light and color emphasizes the differences between the boyz…both visually and psychologically. Great Job!
Oooh, lovely shot, handsome boys. Lots of cushions on your floors, huh.
Thanks again, TBogg.
As opposed to their morning naps, noon naps, early evening naps . . .
They look like a couple stoned teenagers whose mom just walked in, but they know she knows that they know she knows, and everybody’s just waiting till the boys turn eighteen.
Beautiful!
Love the eyebrows–Fenway looks like he’s saying “Don’t go,” while Wembley seems to be saying, “See ya, and bring me back something good.” Is it my imagination, or does Wembley look as big as Fenway in this shot? He has grown very quickly, and cutely.
All the laying about they do and no cottage cheesy thighs. I imagine there’s an envious Dumb Lady out there today.
I love how they’ve gravitated to the spots that best match their coloring. Very tasteful!
You’re right. It’s a meditation on the yin-yang principle, done in dogs.
We had a cat when I was growing up that would do that. She was an orange tabby, and especially like the armrests on the blue couch.
Is it my imagination, or is Wembly actually BIGGER than Fenway now?!
