There’s plenty to love about Nellie. I particularly love it when she performs “Sari”, gets to the rant at the end, and is turning pink in the face by the time she yells “DIE, MOTHERFUCKER!” It’s adorable.
She’s coming to SF after SD. I might have to talk Mrs. captphealy into making an evening of it.

Man, I think I saw izat10yt with that Garcia feller and all those Dead guys way back when. I’m not completely sure though. We bought a mushroom pizza from an enterprising young gal in the parking lot and, not soon after, a little bunny rabbit led us to our seats in Big Fluffy Cloud section. By the time izat10yt took the stage I was laughing hysterically at a handful of shiny metal disk-faces that were clattering away in my pocket. We pooled our resources and bartered most of those with the pizza making tribe and by the end of the night I had no metal disk-faces because my pant’s pockets (and apparently my pants) had wondered off. But to this day, I think izat10yt remains one of my favorites!
SirFoxbat:Echo!
Echo + Public Imagine Limited was awesome as was Echo + New Order and The Mighty Lemon Drops + Echo and Flesh for Lulu (Siamese Babies do the Siamese Twist) + Echo + Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. All those fellers knew how to grow hair!
Whew. I got the Beethoven part but missed the “last”, somehow. Guess I was so focused on decoding I missed the joke.
Thx for answering.
Err, (on edit)..tried but still can’t figure out how to read “izat10yt”, though obviously gunsbeforebutter has the right code book…
You’re too kind calling it a joke, clearly none of it a successful one, my fault not yours. I must have been more legless than I realized. Well, okay I was entirely non-legless, or you know, legful, but earlier this week I had actually gotten somewhat so after a long dinner and then a bar, and then I think another bar. It was something I hadn’t experienced in years, and it was sort of in tribute to that.
Oh, and “Is that ten yet”.
Blrggg was just blrgggg, i.e. the way I sounded by the end of the other night.
Oh and John Fahey was this brilliant and very drunk guitarist, I once watched him do an entire set that consisted of him trying to balance a lit cigarette on the top of a 7-UP bottle on the floor next to him, and I mean the entire set, it’s all he did, or tried to do, and failed, and then er, oh well, never mind.
Since it’s musicstuffarama, RIP Clarence Clemons
The big man left the band? I’m so sorry to hear that, though strangely I prefer learning it here. He was so important. Gobblesim.
