What a lovely song, and nice to see someone that shares my disdain of 4th of July fireworks. I don’t need fireworks to remind me that the USA is armed to the teeth and more than willing to fuck up anyone who looks crossways at us.

There were more illegal fireworks blasting off last night in my neighborhood than I’ve heard for several years. Several buildings were set on fire in the Portland metro area by these assholes.

Also too, WTF have rockets and fireworks got to do with the Declaration of Independence? The “Rocket’s red glare” came about 36 years later in 1812.

I’ve been on the receiving end of a rocket attack (122mm katyusha rockets) and other assorted fireworks. Not one of my favorite holidaze.

I like fireworks and don’t feel like apologizing for liking them as much as I do, fuck you very much.

Now, those who fire off the illegal shit that cause fires and such as BOHICA said, they can die for all I care.
