Got home from work very late this evening and had to make the decision:

Post basset blogging or make myself something to eat?

Yeah, you east coast elitists lost out to a sammich, so … good morning to you.

To add insult to delay I have no new pictures taken in the past week because I HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY so here are some outtakes from weeks ago or, as Fenway calls it: We Were Young Once … And Still Had Our Balls.

Wembley looks like he’s auditioning for a role on Breaking Bad (Walter White’s youthful rebellious sidekick)or maybe a Spaghetti Western
badass. Loads of unintentional personality in that face.

I subjected myself to some of the #notgreatdebate tonight…then came over for my bassett fix…no bassetts!

Hey, I sympathize with being overworked and not having tme for the hobby….but point out, you had time to make fun of Tim Tebow…..
Anyway, I withdraw any complaint – those are lovely pictures. The zebra effect Fenway is very nice.
Honestly, I can’t tell the diff between tutored and not-tutored. Of course, I concentrate on the sweet, though mischievous, faces.

And I freely admit I’d have made the sammich first, too.

West Coast elitist here (Tacoma), and I didn’t have a chance to check on the boys until now, so I don’t feel deprived. Fenway, every single Basset boy we’ve had has been tutored (they’re all rescues), along with the male cats and the spayed females of both species. Yes, we’re cruel.
