This is so very very wrong.
But not nearly as wrong as starting Timothy Richard Tebow against the Raiders today where he will be consumed by fire, plagued by locusts, and generally he will run around like, as Rick Reilly once put it ” a man being chased by bees”.
Unfortunately I won’t get to see this today as contractual agreements with the NFL mandate that we have to watch the Chargers flail around against the Packers. Feel free to post updates, whatever….
(Update:) mungencakes asks in the comments:
What does this mean? That the Broncos are God?
With the whole horse looming over his shoulder/Tim Tebow virgin thing, I’m kind of getting an Equus vibe.
(Update2:) At the half
27 of those yards are on one pass, but he does have 48 yards rushing which is great. If you’re a running back….

That is so wrong on a lot of levels.
What does this mean? That the Broncos are God?
If there are any, I pity the wife and children.
Reminds me of a cartoon I saw a few years ago, with the title of “nursing home, 2035″; the scene is two old guys with plentiful, sagging tattoos, and one says “Hey, I see you were an idiot in the 90′s too!”.
It won’t take until 2035 for the human canvas up above to be declared an idiot; he’s already done it. PS: aside from the stupid topic, the artwork is crap.
Fuck, he can’t even maintain possession of the football in a tattoo.
Those may look like thigh pads but they’re really foreskin pelts.
Is that horse pregnant?
That Equus thing sounds like something that can be adapted by schools having to deal with slashed Arts budgets.
Denard Robinson Tebows! (third pic).
Oh Snap!
I thought the ball was a beer can at first…
(StringonaStick@3 so nailed the artistic review with 4 words. Well done!)
Let The Black Holing begin!
You can’t even drive up the coast & watch it in an Orange County motel room, as the L.A. market is stuck w/ N.J. Giants @ New England Patsies, following N.J. Jets @ Buffalo Boils[sic].
Enough w/ the East Coast bias! No New York!!
Oh, Gawd… Your comments on Tebow are almost, almost enough to make me watch football, just to watch that young man run around like he was being chased by bees. And football is a game I loathe with the power and heat of a bazillion suns.
A Tebow tatoo? Always better to start with jersey. You can always throw it away and pretend you never bought it…
Oh, my.
It’s an intelligence test.
It occurred to me the other day that, if Tebow’s true to his religious beliefs, he’s probably still a virgin. Not yet married, as far as I know.
Maybe all that pent-up “joy” is what’s inhibiting his performance on the field.
Does anyone know if he has a girlfriend?
As with Nickleback I will take your word on tehbow’s performance. Not willing to watch more than a clip of football…..
he’s gonna be someone’s girlfriend….
Tebow currently has a 143.8 quarterback rating. Playing well.
If I were the Broncos, I would take him out now while his trade value is at its peak.
Tramon Williams just tebowed into the end zone after intercepting Rivers. what does this mean?
While he’s in Oakland maybe he should ask Kyle Boller if Princess Jesus Boobies (TM) has a sister.
Sweet!
Apparently management isn’t following TBogg comments today ‘cuz our boy is slipping fast! 103 rating with a long way to go….
Seventy seconds remain in the half. O ye of little faith! Repent now and be saved!
QB Rating = 71
That’s more like it!
Oooooh, JuiceBox is dabbling dangerously close to 66.6 with his half time 66.7…
I noticed the camera crew were in love with showing Juicebox Jesus’ stigmata while he was on the sideline.
I cut my lip worse when my razor slipped.
And Denver hangs on to win, thanks to a long punt return and two long non-Tebow TD runs. Cue the hallelujahs from the Tebow fluffers.
Not to be a party-pooper here, but you have to give Tebow his due. He played heads-up ball and mostly succeeded in staying out of his own way. That being said, Tebow was not the main ingredient in Denver’s win. The Raiders’ mistakes had a lot to do with it. And John Fox is a helluva coach. Getting the team (and the quarterback) turned around after the disaster in Detroit is quite an achievement.
I agree. But, seriously Oakland? 298 yards rushing when you know that Tebow can’t throw and panics in the pocket?
Oy.
He raised up his hands and the defense did part asunder.
Maher explains why he thinks Tim Tebow would be the perfect Republican candidate.
Yah, Detroit’s box-4 wasn’t a tip-off?
It’s all good. JuiceBox lives to play another day….
TEBOW 4 EVAR!!! He is anointed! he is purified by fire!!
The slurping from the sports media will make the event horizon of a black hole seem like a Dustbuster, suction-wise. I so hate being a Broncos fan right now.
As a forever Broncos fan, I listened some to the Broncos hometown radio call-in show after the game. The station apparently has a bit of a rep as Tebow-doubters. There were a number of absolutely sickening phone calls from Tebow nutcases, really rudely, childishly, crowing about the victory.
I saw the game (TV), and I think Tebow deserves lots of credit for the win.
Besides the Broncos rushing total, Tebow only got sacked once.
The story is the offensive line, and some clever play-calling. Also too, a defense that earned its paycheck.
Calling me an originalist, but I see nowhere the Constitution requires or allows a religious test for QB. So, I’ve decided to try to get used to Timmy.
That tat really makes me think of the film “Zoo.” Just sayin’.
Beating the Raiders is, indeed, God’s work.
guys, this is what teh tboww does; protects the football, runs it effectively, throws it better than you expect and wins. get used to it..
Tebow does more than win — Tebow saves.
