Since it’s the end of the year, I thought I would post my favorite picture from 2011 of the boys, which is my way of saying … I don’t have anything new to offer.
But it really is my favorite although this out-take from February does have its charm.
Yes. The weather here is like that in February.

So many jowls… and such cute legs. Love the boys, as always.
Comfort food for the soul, this. As 2011 hobbles to a close, and we look back and say…”Well, fuck, that was a year of epic suckitude, wasn’t it?”, we can look at these photos and realize that it wasn’t ALL epic suckitude…
Isn’t there also a prequel to the second photo, where Wembley actually stands under Fenway? Hope you all have a happy and healthy new year! Your bassets make my Thursdays, every week. We love loving them, at our house.
In that second shot — you just KNOW they’re going all Tom Sawyer, whitewash-my-fence. Hell, they could talk Limbaugh out of a cheeseburger and into a tofu and leek stew with those looks.

I think Wembley’s paws are the same size, no matter the shot.
OK Bogg, it’s fairly obvious that *someone* has drugged those dogs in the first picture.

TBogg: not just gills, but shark gills…unless it’s the result of Newt “not have[ing} sex with that woman”.
When bassets sit, their back feet look quite useless. It’s quite cute and hilarious to me for some reason. Like these big honking rabbity feet are just lying there unable to move.
No I’m not a laughing at the boyz…I’m just enjoying their oddities.
Just realized that Wembley’s left eye is open in that first picture. Is that Tbogg being reflected in that basset eye? If so, kewl! If not, pls ignore me. What do I know? Thx.
