I’m going to assume that George Tierney also apologized to Sandra Fluke, and from what I can tell of her demeanor I’m going to assume that she graciously accepted it,  but since Twitter has elected to suspend George Tierney’s account  we may never know.

Having said that, I did think that he, at the very least, deserved to have these comments published so that they may become part of the Official Google Record.

Time to move on, people. Nothing to see here. It’s over.

Added: There are some who think the tweets/posts are fake. I don’t know and, quite frankly, at this point, I don’t even care. George Tierney publicly, and globally I might add, humiliated himself. He is yesterday’s news and it is time to move on. Obsessing over him is not productive and, more importantly kind of creepy.

Sandra Fluke has handled this better than all of us, myself included, and maybe her example is the greater lesson to learned here.

Just let it go.
