Hey, I recognize that look! It’s the same look I’ve seen lately on my 3-and-a-half-year-old grandson — ever since I told him the angel on top of the Christmas tree is watching everyone so she can report back to Santa.
60 mortal pounds, eh? I’ve known full grown humans who didn’t weight a whole lot more than that (I had a very tiny friend a few years back). Bet it’s toasty under that lovely generous dog body.
He is beauteous. I wish (she said, trying to make mournful bassett eyes with an anthropoid face) that some recent video of the boys might be forthcoming as a Solstice prezzy for us all…..
That’s “unglowered”?
Yes, can’t you tell? How did you get him to smile?
Man, that beast is stunning.
I hear that San Diego is drowning as well these days.
Looking most dignified.
This is the basset facial expression for “I just won the lottery!”
Dude, I had to, like, wear a sweater today, and I got lucky and found the umbrella, too.
Wembley! Looking very noble in that pose. Don’t quite detect the smile, but the usual glower does seem absent. So handsome.
Wet and chilly here in the Old North State as well. I could stand having a lapdog to help keep me cozy, even if he did weigh 60 lbs.
What a sweet smile! I’d have Wembley as my lap baby any time at all.
Damn, I feel obliged to bow and perhaps genuflect in his presence. Grovel a bit. I mean… that look — if I don’t, who knows what’ll happen to me?
That is one handsome hound.
Now that it drops into the 20′s overnight, I find that my lap is never unoccupied either.

Magnificent. Positively Secretary of State-ish.
Awwww…who’s my pretty puppy?

Nose Boop!
BOOP
OMG I missed TNBB! How is this possible.
Pretty puppy, lovely freckles.
Heh, it just occurred to me that TBogg must have the new Photoshop…the one with the “Unglower” tool!
One of my bassets, Sam, had the ability to climb in my lap without me noticing.
I always find it interesting to find what “freezing” is in different parts of the country.
In San Diego, 60 degrees is cold. Where I live in Ohio, we’d be wearing short-sleeved shirts and khaki shorts in 60-degree weather.
Stay warm out there.
