Anything to get into the sun:

This is not limited to Fenway. Here is a picture of Wembley from 2/3/2011:

All surfaces are in play…
how feline of them
I can just imagine the day you came home to find this bizarre smeared print on the nightstand and could only wonder what it might be.
It’s their house. You just live in it.
Basset Customer to Fenway, Design Head of LazyBoyz Furniture: Sometimes I want to rest my head on a solid surface but the rest of me wants the comfort of a bed.
Problem solved!
With bassets, it’s all about the mental gymnastics.
(Wembley learned from the master, no doubt.)
Hey! Somebody changed their sheets in the past year.
Thanks, as always, from the very dogless among us. Yours are mine, virtually.
Don’t their coats fade?
Arthur and I haz returned from our adventures and are naow tucked up in our respective beds. IT IZ SNOWING OUTSIDE.
We do not like this. We wish to be in teh sunshine.
Ah, the weekly dose of basset! My spirits, they are lifted. Thank you.
Despite the weekly Bones focus of the pictures, never noticed the fine whisker strafe pattern on Fenway. Lovely, and makes me want to pet the screen.
Is that creepy?
They were reaching to punch off the alarm clock, and just decided, “Oh, the hell with it.” Rested their jowls and went back to sleep, with the Morning Zoo yammering in the background.
Since Mrs. Hatmandu is a “stage five clinger” in bed, I often sleep with my head on the nightstand in order to get some needed space. You get used to it.
Cue the music. . .
Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie em in a knot?
Can you tie em in a bow?
Sun? Sun?
Here in the Midwest, we can go weeks in the winter without seeing it.
The bassets would not be amused.
I yearn for the sun!
We have too much darkness here,
And bad leftovers.
Ican’tbelieveIforgotabout Thursday Night Bassets! I must be losing my mind!
Those are particularly nice photos, and I started chuckling the moment my screen resolved.
Hatmandu, you are in good company.
heydave, another haiku! Thank you, too!
And thank you, TBogg, for sticking around a while longer, and continuing to put up the boyz’s pickchers for your weird little internet friends.
We do appreciate you. (smile)
More likely the effort of trying to shut it off exhausted them, especially after that hard night’s sleep….
